What is it that keeps most people stuck?

This is one of those questions that could spur a ton of different responses. Not everyone gets stuck on the same exact things.

Nevertheless, all of these issues are closely related.

Rarely does the “how to” of running a business account for all the struggles.

In fact, the “how to” actually has very little to do with a person’s level of success.

The hardest part about being a network marketer, when you really break things down, is developing the right mindset.

The right mindset is the difference between consistency and inconsistency. It’s the difference between optimism and pessimism.

When you start your own business, you have to do so with an attitude that knows no discouragement.

Things aren’t always going to go the way you want, but that doesn’t mean you stop taking action. Mindset is what separates those who quit from those who push on through.

The right mindset is built upon a strong “reason why.”

When the “why” is big enough, the “how” becomes easy.

Ask yourself this question: Why am I building my business?

What made you want to become a network marketer?

If all you can answer is “money,” then you probably don’t have a strong enough reason why.

You have to get to the core of your feelings.

What do you want to do with the money?

Saying “I want to make a lot of money” isn’t nearly as powerful as saying “I want to make a lot of money so I can retire my parents early.”

There has to be a deeper reason.

Find out what that is for you.

Most people who fail in this industry never figure this out. They may want more money and a better overall lifestyle, but nothing deeper than that is helping to push them forward.

It’s easy to quit if you’re working just for you.

Doing something for others gives it more of a meaning, especially if those others are your family or friends.

Indeed, the hardest part of network marketing is developing the right mindset. All other issues can be filed under this.

Don’t have the ability to consistently stick to your plan?

It’s probably because you don’t want it bad enough.

File that under “mindset” issue.

Don’t have the guts to talk to more prospects?

Fear is an issue of “mindset.”

Every single thing between you and success- it all starts with “mindset!”

This is why personal development is genuinely important.

The best way to overcome a limiting and fearful mindset is to feed it good material. Learn what you are lacking, then act on the knowledge you acquire.

It’s not enough to learn, you must also act as well.

Is it a fear of failure or criticism?

Is it lack of a real desire or a strong enough “reason why?”
